iAssets follows a local-first data model. Asset, liability, account, and category data you enter is stored on your device by default.

2. Sync and Backup
If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced across devices via Apple iCloud, subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
3. Third-Party Services
We may rely on required third-party infrastructure (such as Apple platform capabilities) for core functions. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Data Security
We recommend enabling device passcode, biometric unlock, and system security settings. iAssets supports passcode protection and auto-lock.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Except where required by law or necessary for safety, we do not proactively disclose your local data content to third parties.
6. Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Updated versions take effect when published. Material changes will be announced in app or on site.
